| Caribou roaming north of the 57th parallel are on Native Controlled Lands. Only through strict control of outfitter operations can outside hunters obtain access to this wilderness area. August - September: Small groups are scattered across the tundra in search of food. Males join female groups moving towards rutting grounds as the season progresses. This period coincides with the peak of the fall hunting season in all our territories. | ||
